Auberge Nemoz

A museum chalet, a music chalet

In the Northern Alps, on the Belledonne range lies the Massif des 7 LAUX, at its feet the Vallée du Haut Bréda, a secret, wild and grandiose valley: one of the last valleys in the Alps to have escaped concrete and fake village resorts.

Everything is true, simple, rugged, and beautiful.
Close by motorway to Grenoble and Chambéry (1 hour), Lyon, Geneva, and Valence (2.5 hours), and close to Allevard-les-Bains. At the end of the valley, a path accessible in summer and winter will lead you to us, no neighbors, no noise: 5 hectares of "natural park"... If the snow falls too heavily, we will come and pick you up at the bottom of the path.

The story of Nemoz is the fruit of a passion, Amélie and Adrien tell you, in a few lines, the family history of the Auberge Nemoz, the sweet dream of Françoise and Bertrand a museum chalet, a music chalet:

From a discreet barn, nestled in the hollow of a clearing in 1980: “a rich, wonderful nothing”, over the years the barn has been transformed into a mountain hamlet, stone walls and beams sculpted by Bertrand tell the story of life in the place: children, friends. Nothing is there by chance, Amélie has watched over every detail: from the flowers to the comfort, from the softness of the quilts to the well-being of all.
