The most romantic of all, the family furniture has traveled far and wide to find its place in our chalet. Empire period furniture, enhanced by Persian rugs, a Flemish tapestry decorates the headboard. A number of paintings and lithographs evoke the mountains or more distant shores. An icon by Solange Jolais, my grandmother. Russia, Paris, Egypt, Brittany, Lorraine, Auvergne - this room is a confluence of our family's artistic and literary currents, culminating in the bathroom under a large shaft of light highlighting the room's Moorish inspiration. A zest of poetry, romance and well-being opening onto a large terrace on the valley side and, just for you, nature, nothing but nature, changing with the seasons.
